About Swirls CupCakes

Swirls started with one small shop and a simple idea. Nut free cupcakes that taste as good as any other cupcake. That was the whole point, and it has not changed since.

The founder trained as a pastry chef before opening the shop, and brought the same style of small batch, made by hand baking to Toronto. Over the years the menu grew. Cakes, cheesecakes, cookies and other desserts joined the cupcakes.

A lot of our customers come to us because someone in their family has a nut allergy. As parents, we get it. Nobody should have to skip dessert at a birthday party. That is why our kitchen has always been nut free, and always will be.

We are family owned, and the team has grown over the years into a group of bakers and cake designers who all care about the same thing. Getting the small details right. A clean swirl on every cupcake. A cake that looks like the photo you sent us.
